Tasks
- Provide first-level technical support to end-users by diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues on desktops and laptops.
- Assist with the installation configuration and troubleshooting of desktop applications and operating systems to ensure seamless user experience.
- Maintain accurate documentation of support activities including ticketing system updates and knowledge base contributions for future reference.
- Collaborate with team members and other IT departments to escalate complex issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Support the setup and deployment of new workstations including hardware and software installation to meet organizational standards and requirements.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in IT or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in deskside support or similar technical support role.
- Proficiency with Windows and Mac operating systems as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
