Job Summary
The Facility Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance security and functionality of all company facilities. This includes managing day-to-day operations coordinating repairs and renovations ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and optimizing facility usage for maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of buildings equipment and systems.
- Ensure compliance with health safety and environmental regulations.
- Manage service contracts and supervise third-party vendors (security cleaning HVAC etc.).
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
- Monitor facility budgets and manage cost-saving initiatives.
- Conduct regular facility inspections to identify issues and improvements.
- Coordinate office space planning and relocation projects.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and facility usage.
- Ensure optimal utility management (power water HVAC systems etc.).
- Respond promptly to emergency situations or urgent issues as they arise.
Job Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Facility Management Engineering Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years experience in facility or operations management.
- Strong knowledge of building systems (electrical mechanical plumbing).
- Excellent leadership organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and facility management software.
- Ability to manage budgets contracts and service-level agreements.
- Working knowledge of safety standards and building codes.
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
