Sentara Health-Rockingham Memorial Hospital Medical Center located in Harrisonburg VA is hiring a Scheduler-Cardiology
This position is in-office/in-person and is not remote or hybrid. The schedule is Monday-Friday on dayshift with weekends off.
Overview
Schedules procedures for patients in a computerized scheduling system. Accountable for accurately and completely obtaining required information in the scheduling process ensuring the correct patient and procedure requested has been scheduled. Responsible for order entry process communications guest relations medical record maintenance/analysis and various clerical duties within scope of role.
Education
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Certification/Licensure
- No specific certification or licensure requirements
Experience
- Minimum one year of experience in a related area such as a customer service environment in a medical office or in a healthcare environment.
- Prior healthcare medical terminology or medical office experience is preferred.
