Job Description

CT Tech Shift Details: 4x10H MIDS 13:00-23:30 Minimum Years Experience: 2 Years Accepts First Time Travelers On Call Required As needed For Call Off Coverage Documentation: MediTech (Required) Required Patient Groups: Pediatrics Adolescents Adults Geriatrics Certifications: BLS ARRT Formal Radiologic Technology training in AMA approved School IEMA Equipment/Scanner Experience: GE Job Summary: To apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis in accordance with policy and procedure practicing radiation safety methods at all times. To select appropriate technical factors limiting the need for re-exposure and in accordance with equipment operating guidelines. Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment and initiative and basic knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy. To apply patient care communicating the procedure performed lessening apprehension and in accordance with the hospital s Patent s Rights policies. Knowledge of the needs of patient. Work Setting Experience: Outpatient Inpatient ER Level I Trauma Community Hospital Adult ICU Required Skills: IV Starts Phlebotomy PACS Contrast Scrubs: Black
