Position Overview
As the Director of Nursing Education youll lead our comprehensive nursing education initiatives designing and implementing cutting-edge programs that enhance clinical competencies and advance professional development across our nursing teams.
Essential Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee implementation of evidence-based nursing education programs
- Lead curriculum design for clinical skills development and continuing education
- Direct simulation-based training programs and competency assessments
- Ensure regulatory compliance with accreditation standards and healthcare regulations
- Manage educational technology integration and learning management systems
- Foster partnerships with academic institutions and professional organizations
- Oversee departmental budget and resource allocation
- Drive quality improvement initiatives through outcomes measurement
- Mentor nurse educators and clinical preceptors
Required Qualifications
- Masters degree in Nursing Education or related field
- Current RN license in good standing
- 5 years clinical nursing experience
- 3 years nursing education leadership experience
- Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) credential preferred
- Strong background in adult learning principles
- Excellence in program development and implementation
- Proven leadership and team-building capabilities
