Branch Director Hospice

Location: Worcester MA

Reports To: Area Vice President

As a Branch Director Hospice you will lead a dedicated team of healthcare providers ensuring clinical excellence regulatory compliance and operational efficiency across your branch. You will play a vital role in bringing comfort dignity and compassionate care to patients at one of the most critical times in their lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Oversight:
    • Direct and monitor financial performance and budgeting for assigned branches
    • Ensure accurate accounting practices and cost-effective care delivery
  • Staffing & Leadership:
    • Maintain adequate staffing to meet patient needs
    • Hire train and mentor team members in accordance with company values and goals
  • Compliance & Quality Assurance:
    • Monitor and enforce compliance with Medicare Medicaid and third-party reimbursement regulations
    • Coordinate utilization reviews and participate in strategic planning and account reviews
  • Public Relations & Communication:
    • Ensure accuracy of public-facing materials and communication
    • Maintain 24/7 availability as required for leadership or regulatory purposes
    • Participate in on-call rotations
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for program and service enhancements
    • Investigate and resolve complaints ensuring service excellence and regulatory compliance

Qualifications

  • Licensure:
    • Current unrestricted RN license in state of operation required
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 5 years in Hospice care
    • Leadership experience in a Hospice or Home Health setting
    • Experience in a matrixed environment with financial oversight responsibility
  • Education:
    • Bachelors degree in Nursing Healthcare Administration or a related field preferred
  • Technology Skills:
    • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook)
    • Experience with Homecare HomeBase preferred
