Job Description

Amazon is seeking motivated individuals for a Hardware Commodity Specialist I position at our IT Warehouse in Renton. This facility supports end users and IT offices throughout Seattle and across the U.S. with a team culture that approaches every challenge with dedication and excellence.

Key job responsibilities
Inventory Management:
- Conduct ongoing inventory review and replenishment
- Maintain stock targets
- Optimize inventory levels
- Execute stock rebalancing between locations
- Monitor and maintain inventory availability metrics.

Vendor Management:
- Monitor vendor performance and delivery compliance
- Engage with vendors regarding quotes orders and issue resolution
- Track shipments
- Manage delivery schedules

Process Improvement & Analytics:
- Analyze business processes to identify and address gaps
- Develop and implement inventory analysis reports
- Create and maintain performance metrics
- Design efficient processes for monitoring ordering SLAs

Bachelors Degree from an accredited university or equivalent qualification in Supply Chain Management
4 years experience in Supply Chain Order Management Vendor and Fulfillment Management
4 years experience working with Advanced Microsoft Excel
2 year of experience in basic SQL skills
Excellent business judgment strong written and oral communication skills and a practical common sense approach to getting things done

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $55300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $120500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
