We have an opportunity for a Talent Assessment Lead to join our team where you will create Avivas talent assessment strategy that will define how we identify and develop top talent. You will report into the Head of Talent Management and be responsible for transforming our end-to-end selection and assessment approach from Early Careers to Executive assessment.
The successful candidate will lead the design delivery and embedding of assessment tools that uncover potential shape our workforce and ensure our teams are set up to serve our customer needs The Talent Assessment Lead will be pivotal in helping redefine talent management across Aviva and unlocking the full potential of our people.
There will be a need to travel to and work from the London office as and when required.
A bit about the job:
You will need to demonstrate a successful track record of influencing and operating across a global matrixed business from front line leader to C-Suite and partnering across the People Function. You will build and embed an assessment and selection framework for all levels across Aviva (from Early Careers to Exec).
You will also:
Build and embed an assessment and selection strategy for all levels across Aviva (from Early Careers to Exec)
Work with Strategic Resourcing and wider Talent team to design and implement Aviva specific assessment criteria methods and tools (including psychometrics).
Analyse collective assessment results to identify common strengths areas for development and potential talent gaps
Develop fabulous colleague assessment experiences by linking proposed assessment tools to our current portfolio of people technology
Paying attention to industry trends legal and ethical standards and best practice assessment tools partnering with external experts where needed
Provide assessment and feedback training to build capability within the People team
Work with Senior Leaders to provide feedback and coaching based on their assessment results
Skills and experience were looking for:
Extensive expertise and experience in talent assessment and psychometrics with knowledge of current and emerging thinking and approaches
Experience of implementing assessment tools from design to roll out debriefing through to evaluation up to and including C-suite
Strong level of data literacy and analysis applying data extraction and analytical methods to analyse and evaluate data
Prior experience across the talent management culture organisational development and learning
Post-graduate or professional qualification in occupational psychology
