Job description
Assist the Technical Superintendent in planning coordinating and executing vessel drydock activities.
Assist in the preparation of AFE and WBS in coordination with the Technical Superintendent.
Monthly Technical VOE accruals review.
Monitor and follow up on the timely delivery of spare parts to vessels.
Circulation of monthly class status report and follow up.
Monitor and coordinate vendor payment processes to ensure timely settlements.
Maintain and update vessels trading certificates.
Apply for the renewal of certificates such as Bunker Convention Certificate ship station license and Wreck Removal Certificate from the vessels flag.
Coordinate and schedule weekly and monthly technical meetings.
Facilitate the issuance of Travel POs for the Technical team in compliance with company procedures.
Assist other Technical Assistants/ Executives on leave and take other ad hoc requests for Technical Superintendents and Technical Managers
Other administrative duties and tasks assigned.
Extraction of ABS NS report for circulation and follow up
Preparation of documentation (e.g. PO and invoices) for insurance claims (maintenance of insurance certificates).
Job requirements
Degree or Diploma with relevant experience in the Maritime industry.
