Mid-Level or Senior Procurement Agent

Boeing Defense Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Mid-Level or Senior Procurement Agent to join our dynamic team in Everett or Tukwila WA!

The Supply Chain Single Point of Entry (SPOE) is an immersive 8-week training cohort where you will be trained to be at the forefront of optimizing demand and supply dynamics. In this role you will play a pivotal part in the continuous review and analysis of supply chain market needs ensuring operations are seamless and efficient. Youll collaborate with diverse teams to support prepare and execute proprietary information agreements while helping to shape and enhance our sourcing strategies. Upon completion of this cohort you will be strategically placed into a role that aligns to your newly developed strengths.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Position Responsibilities Mid Level (3):

  • Integrates program customer product and in-service strategies into source selection negotiation and contracting strategies
  • Negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions
  • Prepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements
  • Conducts risk issues and opportunities management. Manages supply and demand schedules supplier quality delivery and financial performance
  • Initiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies

Position Responsibilities - Senior (4):

  • Provides oversight and management of supply and demand schedules supplier quality delivery and financial performance
  • Leads negotiation of pricing and contract terms and conditions
  • Prepares and executes negotiation strategies resulting in contractual documents and binding agreements
  • Interprets and enforces contract terms and conditions
  • Consults with external customers to resolve supplier performance issues
  • Leads supplier performance teams to develop strategic supplier solutions across programs and commodities
  • Participates on supply chain process improvement teams and identifies improvement opportunities for potential integration into supplier contract strategies

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with Supplier Management Supply Chain and/or Procurement practices and processes (on the job or in an educational environment)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelors degree or higher
  • Mid-Level (3): Related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Senior (4): More than 3 year of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in a high volume fast paced environment
  • Experience handling unique problem solving and multi-tasking of urgent issues daily

Security Clearance:

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
