- Client is dedicated to seeking attractive absolute returns through investments in the global credit markets and real estate related markets with a long-term goal of building a world-class asset management platform.
- We currently have a need for a Database Administrator who will oversee the following:
Who Are We Looking For
- As a DBA you will play a critical role in managing and maintaining an organizations databases.
- You will be responsible for the performance integrity and security of the organizations databases.
- The role includes planning development and troubleshooting to ensure data remains consistent secure and accessible.
- Requirements entail deep expertise as a Database Administrator excellent knowledge of data backup recovery security and SQL.
What Will You Work On
- Maintain database systems of high availability and quality.
- Install configure and upgrade database servers and related applications.
- Design and implement databases according to end users needs.
- Ensure data security privacy and integrity.
- Implement security measures and frameworks to protect data.
- Monitor and maintain database performance and implement changes to improve efficiency.
- Perform regular tests and evaluations to ensure optimal performance.
- Manage database storage user permissions and system backups.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues related to database operations connectivity and performance.
- Use high-speed transaction recovery techniques and backup data.
- Minimize database downtime and manage parameters for fast query responses.
- Provide proactive and reactive data management support for users.
- Maintain documentation related to database configurations policies procedures and best practices.
What You Bring
- Experience as a Database Administrator.
- Proven ability leveraging analytical and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in programming languages (SQL server Oracle MySQL etc.) integration tools and data modeling.
- Excellent knowledge of data backup recovery security and SQL.
- Strong understanding of database structure theories principles and practices.
- Ability to juggle and prioritize multiple tasks within a collaborative team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think algorithmically.
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
