Job Description
- Design develop test and implement high-quality PL/SQL packages stored procedures functions triggers and views.
- Optimize existing PL/SQL code for performance scalability and maintainability.
- Work closely with business analysts data architects and other developers to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Develop and maintain data migration scripts and ETL processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues and performance bottlenecks.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for all developed solutions.
- Collaborate with QA teams to ensure thorough testing and quality assurance of developed applications.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Oracle database technologies and PL/SQL development trends.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).1
- 5 years of hands-on experience as a PL/SQL Developer with Oracle databases (12c 19c preferred).
- Strong proficiency in writing complex SQL queries views and DDL/DML statements.
- Extensive experience with performance tuning and optimization of PL/SQL code and SQL queries.
- Solid understanding of relational database design data modeling and normalization.
- Experience with ETL processes and tools.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git SVN).
- Excellent problem-solving analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced2 environment.
- Experience with other database technologies (e.g. SQL Server PostgreSQL)
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts.
- Experience with Oracle APEX or other Oracle development tools.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
