- Form a critical part of the headspace Senior Leadership team!
- Part-time (0.8 FTE) ongoing position
- $51 to $66 per hour (dependent on skills and qualifications) super salary packaging benefits of up to $18550
Are you passionate about making a difference in the mental health landscape for young people Join us at headspace Port Macquarie where we are seeking a dynamic and dedicated leader to drive the provision of clinically high-quality mental health care for individuals aged 12-25 years.
In this pivotal role you will not only provide clinical supervision and support to our skilled clinical staff but also offer expert guidance on clinical service issues ensuring that our young clients receive the best possible care. You will play an essential part in shaping the future of our services through involvement in program development design and evaluation all while collaborating closely with the headspace Services Manager. As a strategic leader you will oversee and mentor senior clinicians GP Clinic staff and allied health practitioners fostering a culture of excellence and innovation in mental health support. Your Role Your Impact
- Provide clinical supervision and expert guidance to a multidisciplinary team of clinicians and health practitioners.
- Oversee and mentor senior clinicians GP Clinic staff and allied health professionals.
- Collaborate with the headspace Services Manager on program development design and evaluation.
- Lead clinical service improvements to ensure high-quality care for young clients.
- Drive a culture of excellence and innovation in youth mental health support.

Qualifications :
Who Were Looking For
You are an experienced mental health professional with a passion for youth-focused care. Your skills and background include:
- Tertiary qualification/s in a relevant health field and AHPRA registration or eligibility for membership with the association in your field
- At least 5 years of senior clinical experience with advanced skills in mental health screening and risk assessment
- Proven ability to lead and supervise clinical staff fostering a positive and collaborative environment
- Strong understanding of clinical governance quality assurance and the ability to develop and implement effective clinical processes
- Experience working with diverse young populations including CALD Indigenous and LGBTIQA communities
Your exceptional communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to build strong relationships with clients families and other service providers ensuring the delivery of integrated and high-quality care.
