Job Description
You will be responsible for designing and implementing cutting-edge data solutions that align with the overall data strategy for a pan-European credit management project. Working within Azure cloud architecture you will lead the design and integration of data platforms ensuring the efficient and secure management of large datasets across multiple countries.
Tasks
- You will lead the architecture and design of end-to-end data solutions within the Azure cloud environment to support credit management workflows.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to define data requirements and translate them into scalable and high-performance solutions.
- Ensure that data architecture aligns with best practices industry standards and company objectives in data security governance and privacy.
- Oversee the integration of disparate data sources across various countries ensuring consistency quality and compliance with local regulations.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the Data Engineering and Data Science teams fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Monitor and optimize the performance scalability and reliability of data solutions in the cloud.
Requirements
- BSc or MSc in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
- 7 years of experience in data architecture with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong expertise in Azure cloud platforms including Azure Data Lake Azure SQL Azure Databricks and Azure Synapse Analytics.
- In-depth knowledge of data governance data security practices and regulatory compliance (GDPR etc.).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven track record in designing data architectures that scale across multiple regions and business units.
