Job Description:
Perform semiconductor engineering duties in furtherance of design and implementation of the companys in-house semiconductor microcontroller and related products. Serve as a key contributor in the Customer Application Support team supporting the design in Industrial and IoT application spaces focused in microcontroller applications. Deliver premium technical support in content and time to assigned customers; responsible to be 100% accountable to drive design wins in their target accounts and target technology and lead proof of concept solution design and demonstrations to secure NXP solutions design-in. Analyze design and implement systems solutions. Synthesize customer and competitive insights to improve product definition and roadmaps. Provide technical expertise in support of pre- and post-sales activities. Support development of fully integrated systems which may include processors peripherals communications operating systems and applications software. Technical emphasis on hardware capabilities software and systems integration. Develop opportunities make customer presentations qualifying the value of NXPs products and support responses to technical requests for proposal. Telecommuting available. 25% domestic travel reqd.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Electronics Engineering Computer Engineering Software Engineering Computer Science Engineering discipline foreign equivalent or related field.
Five (5) years of experience in the job offered Technical Support Engineer or related occupations.
