Are you a science technology engineering or mathematics graduate eager to inspire the next generation A highly regarded secondary school in Haringey is seeking a dedicated STEM Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025.

What the Role Involves
- Supporting teachers in delivering engaging STEM lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Assisting students with their learning both in class and through small group interventions
- Preparing and maintaining equipment and resources for practical lessons
- Collaborating with the STEM department to develop innovative teaching materials
- Participating in extracurricular activities and school events related to STEM

- A degree in a STEM-related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A passion for education and inspiring young minds
- Experience working with young people either in a school setting or through extracurricular activities
- A proactive and flexible approach to supporting teaching and learning
Salary and Contract Info
- Salary: 480-520 per week pro-rata to term time only
- Contract: Full-time fixed-term contract for the academic year 2025/26
- Start Date: September 2025
