As a Senior Project Manager at Aareon you will play a critical role in leading and delivering high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our clients in the social housing sector. You will manage end-to-end project lifecycles coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure timely within-budget and successful project completions. You will act as the main point of contact between the company and clients working closely with stakeholders to understand requirements mitigate risks and drive the successful delivery of key software projects.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership: Oversee multiple complex software projects ensuring alignment with business goals and client needs in the social housing sector.
Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary liaison with clients managing expectations and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Scope Management: Define project scope objectives and deliverables ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and that scope creep is minimized.
Resource Allocation: Lead the planning and coordination of resources including personnel budget and time to ensure successful project execution.
Risk Management: Proactively identify potential risks or issues developing mitigation strategies and ensuring any roadblocks are addressed promptly.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers designers and quality assurance to ensure alignment and efficient project delivery.
Project Reporting: Maintain clear and consistent communication with both internal and external stakeholders providing regular project updates status reports and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Continuous Improvement: Promote best practices in project management and drive process improvements to increase efficiency and project delivery success.
Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure all projects comply with relevant regulatory standards and quality assurance protocols particularly those specific to the social housing sector.
Essential Requirements
Experience: 5 years of experience in project management ideally within the software industry with a focus on the social housing or public sector at a senior level or above.
Project Management Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) PRINCE2 or equivalent certifications are highly desirable.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of software development processes methodologies (Agile Scrum Waterfall) and project management tools (e.g. Jira Trello Microsoft Project).
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the social housing sector including regulations challenges and technology trends is highly advantageous.
