Job Description
Job Title: Project Manager
Work Location: Remote/Telework
Duration: up to 5 Years
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a multi-year federal platform modernization program. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing cross-functional teams involved in application development operations cybersecurity and compliance. This role requires strong leadership in project scheduling Agile delivery resource management and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the overall execution of the clients system support contract.
- Serve as the primary point of contact with government stakeholders on all programmatic matters.
- Oversee project planning resource allocation risk/issue management and communications.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning daily stand-ups reviews and retrospectives.
- Ensure delivery is on schedule within scope and meets defined quality standards.
- Align program execution with federal IT lifecycle standards and compliance requirements.
- Promote collaboration across agency teams and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience managing complex multi-disciplinary IT projects for federal clients.
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum SAFe Kanban).
- Experience with federal IT lifecycle frameworks and governance processes.
- Proficiency in project scheduling resource planning and budget tracking.
- Experience with low-code/no-code platforms is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- PMP CSM or SAFe certification is a plus.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with FedRAMP FISMA or other federal compliance frameworks.
- Background in digital modernization or cloud transformation initiatives.
