Customer Care Administrator Logistics
Location:Biggleswade
Salary:up to 26000
Hours:Monday to Friday 9:00 AM 6:00 PM
Were looking for a friendly organised and customer-focused Customer Care Administratorto join a busy logistics team in Biggleswade. This is a hands-on support role where youll be the key point of contact for customer queries and delivery updates helping ensure orders arrive on time and customers stay informed every step of the way.
Youll handle incoming enquiries update customers on their orders work closely with transport teams and help keep everything running smoothly. If you enjoy helping people can juggle multiple tasks with ease and thrive in a fast-paced environment wed love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support a portfolio of client accounts with day-to-day delivery and order updates
  • Communicate clearly with customers via phone and email around 15 key contacts per account
  • Handle delivery queries shipment updates and customer concerns with professionalism and care
  • Book deliveries and collections coordinating with transport providers and internal teams
  • Update systems with order and delivery information accurately and in a timely manner
  • Help resolve any issues or delays quickly keeping the customer informed
  • Liaise with UK-based showrooms and internal teams to ensure a smooth customer experience
  • Maintain records of shipments and prepare basic documentation for deliveries
The Candidate
  • Experience in logistics transport or customer service with a logistics focus
  • Confident using systems and booking deliveries or working with hauliers
  • Excellent communication skills written and verbal and a friendly professional approach
  • Strong attention to detail and able to manage multiple tasks at once
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Outlook and Excel
  • A calm proactive team player who enjoys helping customers and solving problems
  • French language skills are a bonus but not essential
