Job Description


Job Summary

Under minimal direction coordinates a program or service within designated pharmacy areas. Functions mostly independently in decision making with limited guidance. Performs Quality Assurance activities and projects as assigned. Maintains department records and assigned departmental/institutional programs. May interact with other departments and/or businesses outside of Corewell Health System. Enhanced knowledge of area assigned above and beyond technician responsibilities.


Essential Functions

  • Coordinates area of assigned responsibility within the pharmacy department.
  • Assumes ownership and ensures quality and completeness of work assigned.
  • Participates in assigned group work or committees.
  • Responsible for data collection and/or reporting related to assigned area/project.
  • Serves as a role model and leader in the department.
  • Escalates any concerns that are identified in their area of work through chain of command.
  • Involved with business operations and/or department compliance initiatives.
  • See attached addendums (if applicable) for additional site-specific duties.

Qualifications
  • Required High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of four years of pharmacy experience. Required
  • LIC-Pharmacy Technician - STATEMI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
