Are you an experienced project manager with a passion for technical excellence and sustainable operations At Nynas we are looking for a Technical Projects & Support Manager to take the lead on our engineering projects ensure the maintenance of our assets and support the development of our maintenance and technical strategies for our depot network. This is a pivotal role where your leadership and technical skills will contribute directly to the safety efficiency and sustainability of our operations.

About the Role

As a Technical Projects & Support Manager you oversee the condition of our depots ensuring they operate safely and effectively. You will plan manage and support a wide range of technical projects while collaborating closely with both internal teams and external partners. Your work will be essential in driving operational improvements and addressing local challenges across our depot network. Our depot network consists of depots in Sweden Norway Denmark Finland Estonia and UK.

The position is part of the Bitumen Operations team and is based at the Nynas Head Office in Stockholm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning execution and completion of technical and engineering projects for bitumen depots in Scandinavia and the UK
  • Ensure that all projects comply with HSSE (Health Safety Security and Environment) requirements
  • Prepare clear business cases for management approval
  • Identify and implement solutions to improve energy efficiency and reduce environmental impact
  • Provide technical guidance on the design construction and maintenance of depot infrastructure
  • Collaborate with depot operations teams to understand technical needs and operational constraints
  • Liaise with suppliers contractors and other external parties to ensure successful project delivery
  • Manage the Capex budget related to the projects

About You

You are an experienced technical leader who enjoys working with a wide area of responsibility. To succeed in this role you are used to managing complex projects and balancing multiple priorities while fostering collaboration and maintaining a strong safety and sustainability mindset. We believe you have excellent leadership communication and problem-solving skills.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering (Mechanical Civil or Industrial or similar)
  • 710 years of project management experience in technical or industrial environments
  • Experience in the oil or chemical industry is a plus
  • Strong technical knowledge of tank systems pipelines and related equipment
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project or similar
  • Willingness to travel within Scandinavia and to the UK
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written) Swedish is a strong advantage
