Job Title: Employment Associate Cross Border

Description:
We are hiring for our client a top-tier legal employer seeking to appoint an experienced Employment Associate to join their highly respected team. This is a permanent position based in either Glasgow or Edinburgh offering a unique opportunity to work on high-calibre cross-border employment matters. The successful Employment Associate will work with a progressive team known for its technical excellence people-first culture and strong reputation across the UK and international markets.

The Role:

  • Provide legal advice on complex employment law matters including cross-border issues involving multiple jurisdictions
  • Handle both contentious and non-contentious work including tribunal representation and corporate support
  • Build and manage strong client relationships with both UK and international clients
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and contribute to business development initiatives
  • Stay abreast of legislative changes and share insights with clients and colleagues

The Person:

  • Qualified Solicitor in Scotland or England & Wales with ideally 6-8 years PQE (flexible for the right experience)
  • Strong technical grounding in employment law with experience handling cross-border matters
  • Commercially astute with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a high-performing team
  • Demonstrates a growth mindset and a proactive approach to learning and client engagement
