As an ASW Trainer and Testing Analyst youll work at the forefront of technology developing critical training systems like the CIAT - Combined Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) and Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) Trainer. Here you will test and evaluate training programs for the submarine community of the US Navy utilizing Leidos SAST CIAT ATET or other trainers. You will be a training subject matter expert and be responsible for supporting the development testing and delivery of acoustic training systems. You will work with project SMEs and software developers to test and verify new features and overall capabilities for embedded trainer systems installed on tactical sonar systems deployed on submarines surface ships and surveillance systems.

Required Education and Experience
High school diploma with 8 years of work experience obtained through prior military experience.
U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a U.S. Government security clearance (Interim Secret clearance required upon employment).
Must have specific subject matter expertise in ACB 13 or newer SQQ-89A(V)15 sonar system operations.
Must be comfortable working directly with software developers and conducting software testing.
Must be able to utilize Microsoft Windows and Office products in support of day-to-day tasking.
Desired Experience
Military experience in Undersea Warfare as a surface ship sonar technician (STG)
Software/system testing experience
Experience with Atlassian products

Pay Range:
Pay Range $63700.00 - $115150.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data applicable bargaining agreement (if any) or other law.
