System Engineer (Testing & Commissioning)

Role Overview

We are looking for a System Engineer to join our team in Bosch Energy and Building Solutions. In this role you will provide support on system hardware/software design solve technical issues and perform Testing and Commissioning (T&C) of the entire system. Youll be part of a dynamic collaborative team that thrives on innovation and delivering real business outcomes.

What you will do (Key Responsibilities)

• Support system hardware/software design efforts and assist in solving technical issues related to security systems.
• Participate in project planning activities including identifying non-conformities in project requirements.
• Design and support the implementation of SMS/CCTV systems including equipment consoles 19 racking systems and interconnecting cabling requirements.
• Liaise with 3rd party vendors on equipment listing configuration requirements and system integration.
• Customize interface Control Panel & circuit termination drawing designs for SMS/CCTV System including schematics.
• Coordinate and lead the Testing and Commissioning (T&C) process including site surveys equipment setup and field device commissioning.
• Setup configure and commission fiber video data equipment/systems and CCTV Switcher System to meet consultants defined requirements.
• Prepare training manuals and conduct system maintenance and operation training for clients staff.
• Report system T&C status and technical problems to the Section Head ensuring adherence to project milestones.
• Collaborate with project teams consultants and vendors to ensure successful system implementation and integration.

Qualifications :

Who You Are (Qualifications & Skills)

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Telecommunications or related field with experience in system engineering particularly CCTV and security systems design.
• At least 2-3 years of testing and commissioning CCTV and Access Control System in a single company.
• Minimal networking knowledge is required as well. i.e. must be able to setup a VLAN able to tell difference in Class A B and C private IPv4 addresses.
• Strong knowledge of SMS/CCTV systems including installation configuration integration and commissioning processes.
• Ability to work with vendors and consultants to define and meet system requirements.
• Excellent problem-solving project management and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to lead teams and manage multiple tasks.
• Preferred: Relevant certifications or training and familiarity with AutoCAD or similar design software.
• at least 2-3 years of testing and commissioning CCTV and Access Control System in a single company.

• Cat 1 and G50 cleared before is a must as we will be going into those place.
