Work Schedule:

100% FTE Monday to Friday four days per week 10-hour shifts (0). Rotating procedural and clinic schedule with a potential need for future 1:6 weekend rotation with two call shifts per week every six weeks. You will work at University Hospital and UPH-Meriter

As an Advanced Practice Provider youll play an integral role in our inpatient and outpatient care teams by providing high-quality cost-effective care to patients.

We are seeking a Physician Assistant - Electrophysiology Proceduralto:

  • Be an active member of the cross-functional team by providing comprehensive care to both well and ill adult patients in inpatient outpatient and procedural settings at University Hospital and UnityPoint Health - Meriter.
  • Manage pre and post procedure patients: cardiac ablations device-based procedures extractions cardioversions and implantable loop recorders as well as inpatient consults.
  • First assist with pacemaker device placements generator replacements ablation procedures lead extractions and lead revisions. Independently perform cardioversions loop recorder implantations and loop explants.
  • Perform independent clinic visits (local and regional) for electrophysiology patients.

Education:

Minimum

  • Physician Assistant: Bachelors or Masters from Accredited PA program

If Physician Assistant:

Active PA license in State of Wisconsin AND

Active PA board certification

Physician Assistant must have:

Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire
