Description

As a Regional Sales Coordinator youll play a key role in exceeding sales targets by partnering closely with our sales team to boost awareness and adoption of Capstones award-winning books and digital products. Working within assigned territories youll actively support sales efforts and help drive business growth.


This role is ideal for someone with strong problem-solving skills and a talent for building relationships. Youll work to support and strengthen existing customer accounts while helping expand our presence in the market.


Our preference is for this role to be hybrid based out of either our North Mankato MN or Edina MN locations. However fully remote work may also be considered.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales & Support

  • In collaboration with independent sales reps increase sales volume in assigned territories by developing overall sales plan to meet/exceed targeted goals by determining: sales strategies sales lead contacts customer needs and department and company objectives.
  • Set appointments for sales representatives in accordance with the plan that was jointly agreed to with them.
  • Qualify leads by identifying needs schedule and follow up on appointments and conducting online webinars as appropriate.
  • Increase volume of digital product sales through outbound phone calls and email follow up.
  • Successfully liaison quotes to quoting specialists to ensure that they are executed correctly.


Communication & Collaboration

  • Accurately record outbound calls activities and results opportunities management of leads additional contacts and other details as required in the company CRM system.
  • Help plan support and attend conferences and tradeshows within assigned territories.
  • Prepare special email and direct mailings based on market needs.
  • Complete additional duties assigned by manager on a timely and professional basis.


Education Experience and Skills desired:

  • High school diploma or GED required. Post-secondary education in the areas of sales marketing business or education related background preferred.
  • One year of inside/outside sales experience or one year of customer service experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently self-starter.
  • Team player.
  • Technology savvy and loves learning new tools and processes to make us better/faster/smarter.
  • Persistence.
  • Relationship builder.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving ability.
  • PC proficiency including internet Outlook Word and Excel.
  • Salesforce proficiency helpful.
  • Demonstrates strong sales quota achievement year over year.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to articulate complex ideas/solutions clearly and concisely.


Travel Requirements

This position requires some travel around 5%.

The pay range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered surrounding compensation including but not limited to: skill sets experience and training work location and other business and organizational needs. At Capstone it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. A reasonable estimate of the base range for this position is $40000 - $55000. This role is eligible for a sales commission plan with the annual total on-target earnings (OTE) range of $60000 - $75000.
