Job Description
Starr Regional Medical Center is currently seeking talent to fill the position of Director Womens Services for our Womens Services Department. This job is permanent full time.

Core competencies include but are not limited to the following:
- Develops and implements departmental goals plans and standards consistent with the clinical administrative legal and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization.
- Directs and evaluates departmental operations including patient care delivery information technologies service level determination and complaint management to achieve performance and quality control objectives.
- Plans and monitors staffing activities including hiring orienting evaluating disciplinary actions and continuing education initiatives.
- Prepares monitors and evaluates departmental budgets and ensures that the department operates in compliance with allocated funding. Coordinates and directs internal/external audits.
- Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.
- Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.
- Works with the Chairman of the Perinatal Committee on preparation for Perinatal Committee meetings and follow ups.
- Works as staff when needed during critical shortages.
Minimum Education:
Associates degree in Nursing:

Required Licenses:
TennesseeUnited StatesRegistered Nurse
Current RN License in State of TN or another compact state

X Basic Life Support (BLS)
The below certifications will be required within 6 months of hire or when transferring into a new department with these certifications:
X Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
X Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
X Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) Instructor
X Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) Instructor
