OTR responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations to assess residents functional cognitive and physical abilities

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve independence and quality of life

  • Deliver goal-oriented occupational therapy interventions in areas such as ADLs self-care and upper body strength

  • Educate residents families and staff on therapy goals strategies and equipment use

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care

  • Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations treatment plans and progress notes in accordance with regulatory standards

  • Promote a safe and supportive therapeutic environment that encourages residents growth and recovery

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school with a bachelors masters or doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • License as required by the State of Wisconsin to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
