OTR responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations to assess residents functional cognitive and physical abilities
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve independence and quality of life
Deliver goal-oriented occupational therapy interventions in areas such as ADLs self-care and upper body strength
Educate residents families and staff on therapy goals strategies and equipment use
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care
Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations treatment plans and progress notes in accordance with regulatory standards
Promote a safe and supportive therapeutic environment that encourages residents growth and recovery
