Requirements
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented PeopleSoft Campus Solutions Financial Aid Specialist to manage and support the financial aid module within the PeopleSoft Campus Solutions system. This role involves ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial aid applications maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations and providing functional and technical support to users across the institution.
Key Responsibilities:
System Management:
Configure maintain and enhance the PeopleSoft Financial Aid module to ensure high performance and regulatory compliance.
Application Processing:
Oversee the full lifecycle of financial aid applications including verification awarding and disbursement of aid.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure that all financial aid processes adhere to applicable federal state and institutional guidelines and regulations.
User Support & Training:
Provide functional and technical support to staff and students.
Conduct training sessions and create user documentation for the financial aid module.
Data Analysis:
Analyze financial aid data to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement.
Support data-driven decision-making across departments.
Reporting:
Develop generate and distribute detailed reports on financial aid activities and student outcomes.
Required Qualifications:
- Education:Bachelor s degree in Business Information Technology Higher Education Administration or a related field.
- Experience:Proven experience working with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions specifically within the Financial Aid module.
Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Proficiency in data management and reporting tools
- Knowledge:In-depth understanding of financial aid processes and compliance regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in a higher education institution or similar environment
Advanced knowledge of SQL PeopleSoft Query and other data analysis tools
