Do you want to be part of an organization that is making a difference in the lives of millions of people worldwide If so we want to hear from you!The Sample Receipt Specialist is a key member of QPS Bioanalytical Support team ensuring that biological samples and other controlled materials are received tracked and returned safely without loss or damage. Our team is comprised of professionals from diverse backgrounds such as customer service restaurant/retail programming data analysis and various physical sciences. This role requires attention to detail organization and juggling multiple tasks.
This onsite position has core working hours of 8am 5pm Monday through Friday with an hour unpaid lunch. No travel is required. Flexible overtime opportunities on evenings and weekends are available if interested (once an incumbent is fully trained).

The Job
- Receive distribute track and return client samples and other controlled materials without loss or damage. Includes:
- Receive and reconcile shipped samples with bar code scanner
- Able to use basic Excel and willingness to learn advanced Excel functions
- Communicate issues via email or phone to appropriate point of contact
- Frequently lift and/or move 25 pounds. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Work Location
- This job will be 100% QPS-office/facility based
Requirements
- High School Diploma with 2 years related work experience OR
- Associates degree in related science discipline a plus
