Description

We are looking for a full-time Director of Loan Operations who will play a vital role in supporting our current & future clients. Summary:
Responsible for leadership and oversight of operational functions and staff within Loan Operations supporting all markets. Works closely with the banking operations teams to provide a coordinated approach to supporting our clients client advisors and portfolio managers.

Oversee and direct all aspects of consumer and commercial loan operations including loan processing servicing accounting reporting and client service. The role involves designing and administering operational systems and processes to ensure efficiency accuracy and compliance. Serves as a key liaison with market leaders client advisors and support staff to facilitate streamlined workflows and foster strong cross-functional relationships across the organization.

Key Roles/Responsibilities:

  • Lead manage & hold the Loan Operations Team accountable.
  • Provide leadership in support of an operationally efficient area while mitigating and assessing risk related to Loan Documentation and processes.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for leadership outside of loan operations to build strong relationships in support of our client experience.
  • Systems ensure that we have systems in place that we are utilizing them to their potential and determine if there are enhancements that can also be used or implemented for efficiency and automation.
  • Work to position the loan operations area to support the growth of the company while developing the team of associates in Loan Operations.


Responsibility Details:

  • Lead manage and coordinate the daily operational functions and team leaders of Loan Operations.
  • Support and develop team leaders for professional growth in the area as well as recruit high performing associates to the team.
  • Manage systems owned and supported by the department serve as the system administrator to include working with vendors on problem resolutions implementation of releases and identify and submit enhancement requests.
  • Maintain required policies and department procedures. Maintain and update disclosures for loan products within the TruStage system.
  • Maintain accurate current and complete reconcilements for the general ledger and deposit accounts for internal and audit purposes.
  • Ensure loan operations associates monitor loan products and processes to comply and adhere to regulatory guidance in conjunction with the Compliance Officer.
  • Identify and assist with the implementation of new systems as needed to improve quality of work and efficiencies.
  • Responsible for loan audits and ensuring adequate internal controls are developed related to financial reporting regulatory reporting and operational consistency and accuracy. Complete year end requirements on core system and monitor processing.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A bachelors degree in finance banking services or related area is preferred; at least ten years Loan Operations management experience is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong leadership skills and associate development track record.
  • System conversion experience and extensive knowledge of bank operations is highly preferred.
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail is required.
  • Demonstrates a high level of professionalism with confidential and sensitive information.
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow with minimal guidance.
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills as well as written and verbal communication skills.
