Job Description
Overview
Nakupuna Consulting is seeking a motivated and experienced Scrum Master to lead Agile teams in support of a major ERP modernization initiative for the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) and Navy clients. The ideal candidate will serve as a servant leader and coach helping teams embrace Agile principles and frameworks to deliver mission-critical capabilities as part of a complex enterprise-level transformation.
Responsibilities

- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups sprint planning sprint reviews and retrospectives
- Coach teams on Agile/Scrum practices to increase efficiency delivery and team collaboration
- Identify and remove impediments that hinder the teams progress while shielding them from outside distractions
- Partner with Product Owners to manage backlogs and ensure well-defined prioritized user stories
- Track and communicate team metrics and progress to stakeholders and leadership
- Collaborate with Release Train Engineers (RTEs) and other Scrum Masters to align with larger program-level goals under the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
- Other duties as assigned by your supervisor
Qualifications
Qualifications Required:
- 3 years of experience working in Agile environments with 2 years as a Scrum Master.
- Experience with agile project management best practices.
- Extensive experience facilitating contracts budgets in an agile context.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) certification.
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise systems or ERP platforms (e.g. SAP Oracle).
- Familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira Confluence Azure DevOps or Rally.
- Strong communication facilitation and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in federal or DoD environments preferred; understanding of Navy IT systems is a plus.
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Information Systems or a related field.
Clearance:
- Requires an active Secret clearance. Must be a U.S. citizen.
Physical Requirements: The ideal candidate must at a minimum be able to meet the following physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation:
- Ability to perform repetitive motions with the hands wrists and fingers.
- Ability to engage in and follow audible communications in emergency situations.
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and working on a computer.
