Hervey Bay
- IFA 7 - $125088 per annum superannuation
- private use of vehicle (value $17068)
- $6000 Relocation allowance (for suitable candidates)
- 5 days additional recreational leave
- 10-day fortnight

- Stream A 7.1 - $109832 per annum superannuation
- private use of vehicle (value $17068)
- $6000 Relocation allowance (for suitable candidates)
- 17.5% leave loading
- 9-day fortnight

What we are looking for:
We are seeking a passionate experienced and driven leader to oversee the operation and management of Councils Hervey Bay Aquatic Centre Maryborough Aquatic Centre and Wetside Water Park to meet community demand and stakeholder expectations.
What your day will look like:
We are looking for a Manager Aquatic Centres to lead and ensure operations are safe and efficient driving continuous improvement across aquatic programming and services control expenditure and ensure aquatic assets are maintained and managed to the highest levels for our community.

What youll need for success:
You will be a firm but kind collaborative team player and leader as well as commercially astute to lead and identify income revenue opportunities to build and maximise business opportunities.
You will have:
- Degree qualifications (AQF Level 7 or above) in sport/recreation management business management or a related discipline that is relevant to the role or equivalent experience
- A strong understanding of the key success criteria and strategic planning experience in sport/recreation/aquatic centre facilities
- Strong leadership and communication skills and a passion for working to the betterment of our community
- Excellent logic and be a consistent decision maker with a strong safety focus
- Queensland Class C drivers licence
Whats nice to have:
- Post graduate qualifications relevant to the role
- Food safety supervision certificate
