Thermo King Northeast currently has an opening for a full-time 2nd shift (Noon - 8:00 PM) Transport Refrigeration Technician at our Buffalo NY location.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance & service inspections on a variety of transport refrigeration units (TRU) & auxiliary power units (APU)
- Perform diagnostic repair work on mobile refrigeration equipment auxiliary power units & heater equipment
- Follow established technical & administrative processes
- Complete repair orders & parts usage forms
- Communicate effectively with supervisor team members & customers
- Remain current on technical & regulation requirements
- Perform road service calls as required
Position Requirements:
- 5 years experience in the field of refrigeration/HVAC equipment installation and/or repair
- EPA 608/609 refrigeration certifications
- Skills to sufficiently install diagnose and repair refrigeration equipment
- Demonstrate technical knowledge of refrigeration systems components materials methods & equipment to perform prioritize and complete job assignments
- Own & maintain the proper hand tools to perform job functions
- High school diploma or equivalent technical trade school a plus
- Proficient with computer operation/usage
- Valid drivers license
- A New York State motor vehicle inspector certificate is preferred but not required
