POSITION TITLE
Instructional Technology Coach

SUMMARY: The job of Instructional Technology Coach was established for the purposes of improving student performance by interfacing with teachers to facilitate the integration of technology into instruction by developing and conducting professional development sessions on infusing technology into the core arenas of academic curriculum; maintaining training facility resources and equipment; providing input and recommendations regarding software purchases and both site and network technology plans; and providing input/insight on ways to increase teachers use of technology as it positively impacts students academic performance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and Experience: Bachelors Degree in Education job related experience with increasing levels of responsibility is desired.
Certificates Licenses Registrations: Valid Teaching Certificate from D.E.S.E.
Language Skills: Ability to read and analyze and interpret general business periodicals professional journals technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of administrators staff and the general public.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts interest commissions proportions percentages area circumference and volume. Ability to apply concept such as fractions percentages ratios and proportions to practical situations. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems collect data establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Technology Abilities: Ability to operate a variety of technology in an instructional setting proficiency in a chrome based and windows based environment create multimedia and digital video presentations and/or promotions policies and regulation guidelines as they relate to use of software and operate equipment using a variety of standardized methods.
Other Skills and Abilities: Ability to apply knowledge of current research and theory in specific field. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students staff and the community. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both in oral and written form. Ability to define problems collect data establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to perform duties with awareness of all Confluence requirements and Board of Education policies.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand walk sit and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision and depth perception. The employee must be able to hear and determine where noises are coming from.
