About the role
As our Data Analyst you will play a critical role in identifying researching and enriching software data. Your mission is to analyze raw inventory data and normalize it into recognized applications determining essential metadata such as the software manufacturer license type product family and category.
We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and enjoys a balance of independent work and collaborative projects. Youll also provide client support and contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives and projects across the company.
Responsibilities
- Analyze software data and normalize it into recognizable applications.
- Enrich raw data with metadata including software manufacturer license type and product category.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency through regular quality control projects.
- Provide technical support to clients explaining complex information in clear user-friendly language.
- Participate in various cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing our services and systems.
Qualifications
- Preferably an education in IT and/or a few years of work experience in the IT field.
- Solid experience with Windows.
- Good understanding of how applications are installed and executed.
- Education and/or basic experience with Linux/Unix.
- Strong proficiency in written and spoken English
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience in software license management and inventory.
- Familiarity with different software license types.
- Knowledge of hardware inventory processes.
- Experience with data or web scraping techniques.
