As a Sales Specialist you will play a pivotal role in our mission to generate revenue and foster partnerships. Your primary focus will be on closing deals and creating partnerships that cater to the student demographic contributing significantly to our financial growth.
Responsibilities
Sales and Partnership Generation:
- Actively prospect and identify potential clients and partners in industries focused on young consumers
- Initiate and conduct negotiations with the goal of closing brand deals and forming profitable partnerships.
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize sales and brand partnership opportunities.
Client and Partner Relationships:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients/brands and partners.
- Provide ongoing support and communication to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Work closely with the Head of Client Servicing to sell and execute hand-in-hand.
Market Analysis:
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitive offerings.
- Use market insights to adapt sales strategies and identify new opportunities.
Collaboration:
- Collaborate with the marketing and product development teams to align sales efforts with product offerings and marketing initiatives.
Qualifications
Proven experience in sales to brands and partnership development targeting the youth.
Strong negotiation and closing skills.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Goal-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Understanding of the media and tech industry with a focus on the student demographic.
Ability to work independently and as part of a sales team.
Willingness to adapt to changing market conditions and demands.
