Job Description
Our client is a group of companies in Nigeria. Due to expansion they need a Retail Operations Manager will oversee the daily operations retail fuel stations across Nigeria. This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in retail management within the petroleum industry ensuring that all stations operate efficiently comply with regulations and meet sales targets.
Location: Lagos
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee the operations of existing retail stations ensuring adherence to company standards for quality safety and customer service.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive fuel and nonfuel sales improving profitability at each station.
- Ensure all retail stations comply with regulatory requirements including health safety and environmental standards.
- Establish high customer service standards and implement feedback mechanisms to enhance the consumer experience.
- Lead train and develop a highperforming retail operations team setting performance targets and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Identify new market opportunities and contribute to the expansion of the companys retail network across Nigeria.
- Develop and oversee budgets and financial forecasts for retail operations ensuring cost control and profitability.
Job Requirement
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing Finance or a related field. An MBA or relevant professional certification is advantageous.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in the oil and gas downstream sector with at least 3 years in a senior retail management role.
- Strong business development and negotiation skills expertise in fuel retail operations solid knowledge of Nigerian petroleum regulations and excellent leadership and communication abilities.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve operational excellence.
- Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to analyze market trends.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
- Ability to develop and implement effective business strategies
