Job Description
This is a remote position.
Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated CAD Designer with a strong background in AutoCAD. The ideal candidate is detailoriented organized and thrives in a fastpaced environment. You will be responsible for developing and revising technical drawings optimizing design files and collaborating with project teams to ensure highquality deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
Design Development
Create detailed AutoCAD drawings from sketches specifications or conceptual designs.
Prepare construction and technical drawings with precise measurements and annotations tailored to project needs.
Drawing Revisions
Update existing AutoCAD files based on client feedback or project changes.
Ensure all modifications meet industry standards and project specifications.
CleanUp and Optimization
Maintain efficient AutoCAD files through proper use of layers blocks and styles.
Eliminate redundancies correct inconsistencies and ensure drawings are clear and professional.
File Management
Convert drawings into formats such as DWG DXF and PDF for sharing or printing.
Organize and manage drawing files to ensure easy access and version control.
Quality Assurance
Perform accuracy and completeness checks on all drawings.
Ensure compliance with client specifications building codes and relevant standards.
Collaboration
Coordinate with project teams to gather input and clarify design requirements.
Assist in creating visual presentations including plans elevations and renderings.
Support Tasks
Support material takeoffs and quantity estimates from drawings to aid in project planning.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
Technical Skills
Proficient in AutoCAD.
Understanding of construction and technical drawing standards.
Ability to produce detailed plans sections and elevations.
Work Ethic and Soft Skills
Selfmotivated eager to learn and resultsdriven.
Highly organized with strong timemanagement skills.
Proactive and efficient with a strong sense of urgency.
Excellent communicator and team collaborator.
Experience
Demonstrated experience in CAD drafting/design.
Background in managing multiple projects in a fastpaced environment.
