I have a client located in Ocala FL that has an immediate opening for an Architectural Drafter with strong AutoCAD Architecture experience. If youre looking for a hands-on role with real project variety and the potential to transition into a long-term position click Apply Now.
In this role youll be responsible for preparing working drawings and permit drawings for a mix of commercial and residential projects. The firm specializes in block office buildings metal structures dealerships warehouses and upcoming multifamily developments. Youll also be involved in some design work and occasionally visit job sites for field verification.
This is a contract-to-possible-permanent position that requires working on-site in Ocala FL.
Job Requirements:
5 years of experience in architectural drafting with AutoCAD Architecture
Familiarity with Florida codes and permitting processes is strongly preferred
Experience producing permit and construction drawings for commercial projects
Strong understanding of building methods and construction details
Some Revit knowledge is a plus
Excellent communication skills and ability to meet directly with clients
