Job Description
A well established healthcare facility located outside of Sumter SC is searching for a fulltime permanent Controller to join their team!
The Controller Job Opportunity:
- Fulltime direct hire opportunity
- MonFri schedule business hours
- May be required to work weekdays and/or weekends evenings and/or night shifts.
- Great leadership and administration team!
- The Controller directs and supervises the complete accounting system and financial function of the hospital. This includes charges billing A/R cash receipts collections A/P payroll general ledger forecasting budgeting internal controls and audits. Facets include in/outpatient and ancillary services offered by the hospital.
The Controller Minimum Requirements:
- Preferably hold a CPA certification
- Possess a Bachelors degree in Business Administration/Management with a major in Accounting. An MBA is preferred.
- Preferably have a minimum of 5 years of hospital accounting experience.
- Knowledge of financial management and analysis principles and techniques and managerial skills typically acquired through 2 to 3 years of experience in public accounting specifically in health care auditing and reimbursement.
- 1 to 3 years experience as a hospital chief financial officer preferred.
