Job Description

About the Role
Were seeking a Senior Data & AI Engineer to unlock the full potential of our data and AI capabilities. In this handson technically focused role youll design and support robust data pipelines and operationalise AI and machine learning models that drive realworld outcomes.
Working within a collaborative engineering team youll deliver solutions that enhance customer experiences and support a datainformed business. Reporting to the Data and AI Engineering Lead youll focus on building scalable data pipeline developments AIenabled solutions and ML model deployments all while ensuring strong governance and security practices.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on complex challenges is motivated by meaningful work and wants to contribute to building a more intelligent sustainable energy future.

Youre a skilled engineer with a solid foundation in data and AI paired with a collaborative mindset and a passion for creating impactful solutions. Youre confident working across both business and technical teams and can navigate change in a fastevolving environment.

Qualifications & Experience
- 5 years in data engineering machine learning or a related field with a relevant degree
- Strong experience with Snowflake and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Skilled in SQL and Python with experience in ETL/ELT development and transformation tools (e.g. Coalesce)
- Solid understanding of data governance quality security and dimensional modelling (e.g. Kimball)
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices version control (e.g. GitHub) and modern development workflows
- Experience in machine learning engineering including model deployment and/or MLOps.
- Experience integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) in datadriven solutions.
- Experience developing with AI tools stack such as Streamlit retrievalaugmented generation (RAG) AI agents and vector databases.
