Job Description
Are you someone with an eye for detail and an ability to manage daytoday operations. We are looking for an operations supervisor to lead and execute an operations plan whilst meeting the range of reporting needs.
We are an essential service and are proud to be a part of Dunedins waste management and recovery efforts.
Join our dynamic team in Dunedin New Zealand as an Operations Supervisor and play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence while contributing to a cleaner greener environment. In this handson leadership role youll be the driving force behind the daytoday operations ensuring our services run smoothly and according to plan.
- Liaise and work closely with the customer to deliver the required outcomes.
- Supervise and allocate work priorities fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
- Conduct toolbox meetings and ensure adherence to health safety environment and quality (HSEQ) compliance standards.
- Prepare reports and claims for preapproval.
- Manage and approve expenses within your delegation.
- Serve as a visible leader promoting a culture of safety sustainability and continuous improvement.
Qualifications :
- Leadership experience in leading a team ideally in a contracting environment.
- Excellent communication time management and problemsolving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and interpreting compliance systems.
- Knowledge of health safety environment and quality (HSEQ) compliance and safe work practices.
- A passion for sustainability and making a positive environmental impact.
