Attendance/Truancy Officer The Licking Regional Educational Service Center has an opening for a fulltime Attendance/Truancy Officer for the 202526 school will be based on experience and mileage reimbursement is available. Responsibilities:The Licking Regional E.S.C. Attendance/Truancy Services are intended to enable student achievement through the reinforcement of Ohios Compulsory School Attendance Laws in a manner consistent with practices defined in Ohios Attendance Guide. The Attendance/Truancy Officer works cooperatively with local school districts local service agencies law enforcement prosecutors office and the juvenile court in Licking County. The successful candidate will work with multiple public school districts in the county; will possess good communication skills computer skills and have reliable transportation. Job duties include conducting home visits taking part in collaborative meetings completing required reports tracking student attendance and various other responsibilities.
