Due to a retirement the School Department is advertising the position of Coordinator of the Adult Learning Center. Qualifications: Degree and appropriate MA DESE teaching and administrative or more years successful teaching/administrative experience adult education with adult basic education programs College and Career Readiness Standards for Adults (CCRS) and MA DESE grant policies and in designing standardsbased in developing and managing grant and skill in organization leadership communication problem solving collaboration and team building Duties and Responsibilities: educational leadership for the Brockton Adult Learning Center day and evening with district administrators community service agencies local colleges and businesses on issues related to the Adult Learning and evaluate program and and submit all Adult Basic Education grantrequired data and responsible for the building and program management and budget(s) grant and other funding sources and craft proposals in collaboration with the BPS grant all other related duties and responsibilities as assignedCompensation: According to the BEA contract (1.30 ratio 11 month work year) Reports to: Director of Community Schools and After School ProgramsA resume of the applicants educational and professional background should accompany the letter of application.
