Team Summary
Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) Australia New Zealand and South Pacific (AUNZSP) is Visas advisory division working with Visas clients (including card issuers acquirers and merchants) on a broad range of key business initiatives including strategy proposition development loyalty operational optimisation customer engagement and overall business profitability.
VCA is made up of three services lines Advisory Data Science and Managed Services the latter being the execution arm of VCA. Our Managed Services teams (also known as squads) are embedded on client sites leading longterm engagements and delivering value primarily through implementation and execution services. We deliver objectives from a shared value agenda but are also closely connected to the broader VCA team sharing knowledge and bringing the best of Visa to the client.
We are looking for a dedicated Product Manager to join the clients team for a fixedterm contract. This role will be embedded with a key strategic clients Retail Banking team and will be part of a Tech Squad to execute on an exciting credit card product. You will be responsible for planning analyzing designing implementing testing deploying and maintaining robust and secure applications. Your role will involve working across the full lifecycle of software development from roadmap creation to production. Additionally you will set the vision and roadmap for the product group identify market/customer needs and drive the flow of work in the product group.

Responsibilities:
- Strategic Roadmap & Delivery: Contribute to the teams strategic roadmap and lead the endtoend delivery of key initiatives. Collaborate across teams to manage interdependencies and ensure seamless execution.
- Growth & Product Strategy: Shape and execute strategies that drive product growth customer acquisition and engagement. Leverage insights to identify new opportunities optimise existing offerings and align product development with business goals.
- Market Research & Analytics: Conduct indepth market research to uncover trends customer pain points regulatory shifts and competitive insightsfueling innovation and strategic decisionmaking.
- Customer Experience Enhancement: Partner with crossfunctional teams to continuously enhance the customer experiencerefining product features benefits and digital journeys based on insights and feedback.
- Risk Management: Take a proactive approach to risk by performing regular controls identifying and escalating issues early and driving timely resolution and remediation efforts.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all processes are fully compliant with relevant regulatory and policy requirements maintaining a strong and trusted environment.
- Performance Monitoring & Insights: Analyse product performance KPIs and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and growth. Share insights to inform strategic priorities and planning.
- Leadership & Influence: Act as a senior leader within the team setting direction influencing stakeholders at all levels and driving alignment across business technology and operations.
- Portfolio & Prioritisation Management: Balance shortterm delivery with longterm strategic bets. Own the product backlog prioritising initiatives based on customer value business impact and technical feasibility.
- Change Management & GotoMarket: Lead gotomarket planning and execution for new features and experiences. Ensure readiness across marketing frontline operations and support teams.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors Degree
- 5 years related work experience in relevant role in the financial services industry
- A strategic mindset with a bias for actionable to turn ideas into impactful outcomes.
- Proficiency in gathering requirements and managing product backlogs.
- Experience working with User Stories and Product Backlog Management.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complexity and engage diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in product management including setting vision and roadmap and driving product development lifecycle.
- Strong collaboration and influencing skillscomfortable working across teams and managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Analytical thinker who uses data and insights to drive decisions and continuous improvement.
- A proactive approach to riskable to identify assess and act on current and emerging risks.
- Ability to conduct market analysis and validate product concepts with customers.
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to lead crossfunctional teams.
