FIFO 14:7 Snowy Hydro 2.0 Project Be Part of a Growing Team
Looking to make a real impact on a major infrastructure project Were seeking an experienced HSE / Food Safety Subject Matter Expert to help us create a safer healthier home away from home for our teams working on the Snowy Hydro 2.0 contract based in the Kosciuszko National Park.
This FIFO role (14:7 roster) offers the opportunity to support regional operations as part of a fastgrowing organization committed to safety quality and excellence.
About the Role
Reporting directly to Site Managers you will be responsible for managing HSE and food safety initiatives onsite. Youll work closely with operational teams to promote a strong safety culture conduct food audits lead training sessions and ensure compliance with both internal standards and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support HSE and food safety programs across site operations
Ensure compliance with HACCP and relevant food safety standards
Conduct incident investigations and support reporting processes
Facilitate safety coaching toolbox talks gap analyses and safety walks
Identify and mitigate hazards continuously improving site safety performance
Build capability through training and mentoring of site staff
About You
Youre a proactive solutionsfocused professional with a strong background in safety and/or food safetyideally from mining construction facilities maintenance food manufacturing or hospitality.
To be successful youll need:
Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (mandatory)
Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (desirable)
HACCP knowledge and demonstrated food safety expertise (mandatory)
A full manual drivers licence (required for site vehicle use)
Familiarity with ICAM and root cause investigation processes
Strong communication teamwork and time management skills
