The Commis 2 is responsible for supporting the kitchen team in the preparation and presentation of food items according to established standards. The role requires attention to detail a willingness to learn and a commitment to maintaining high levels of hygiene and food safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and cooking of food items across various kitchen sections as assigned.
Ensure proper miseenplace is prepared before service.
Follow recipes and instructions provided by senior chefs.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all food preparation areas.
Store ingredients and food items properly adhering to stock rotation and labeling protocols.
Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations (HACCP).
Support team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef.
Qualifications :
Qualifications:
Minimum 12 years of culinary experience in a hotel or restaurant environment.
Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen equipment.
Culinary certificate or diploma is an advantage.
Willingness to learn and grow in a professional kitchen setting.
Teamoriented with good communication and time management skills.
