As a Chemical Support Engineer you will be the primary support for your district to ensure treatment chemicals and equipment are used effectively economically and safely at accounts within the district. You will also assist and work alongside sales account managers with the design and implementation of treatment programs.
What Youll Do:
Routine service visits and testing as required to ensure safe and effective treatment programs within the pulp and paper industry.
Update databases with each service visit and generate weekly service reports as required
Assists with technical issues at customer sites brings any issues to the customers attention and puts together a plan for corrective action ensures the sales account manager is kept informed
Look for growth opportunities at existing customers and assist with growth opportunities at prospect accounts as required
Assist with data analysis on program performance
Routine monitoring and maintenance of feed equipment as required
Participate in technical training opportunities for advancement of skills and knowledge
What Youll Bring:
Bachelors Degree (Science or other technical degree).
Solving complex and nonroutine technical problems
Strong relationship management skills
Industry and customer literate or ability to pick up industry and Solenis technologies quickly
Drive for results; proactively addresses complex issues
Fluency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel and PowerPoint)
Must live within the La Tuque area
Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
Must have a Valid Drivers License and Motor Vehicle Record

En tant quingnieur de soutien chimique vous serez le principal point de contact pour votre district afin de garantir que les produits chimiques de traitement et les quipements sont utiliss de manire efficace conomique et scuritaire chez les clients de la rgion. Vous assisterez galement les gestionnaires de comptes dans la conception et la mise en uvre de programmes de traitement.
Ce que vous ferez :
Effectuer des visites de service de routine et des tests au besoin pour assurer la scurit et lefficacit des programmes de traitement dans lindustrie des ptes et papiers.
Mettre jour les bases de donnes aprs chaque visite de service et gnrer des rapports hebdomadaires selon les besoins.
Apporter un soutien en cas de problmes techniques sur les sites des clients signaler toute problmatique aux clients et laborer un plan daction correctif tout en tenant le gestionnaire de compte inform.
Identifier des opportunits de croissance chez les clients existants et soutenir les initiatives de dveloppement auprs des clients potentiels.
Aider lanalyse des donnes sur la performance des programmes.
Assurer la surveillance et lentretien de routine des quipements dalimentation selon les besoins.
Participer des formations techniques afin de faire progresser vos comptences et vos connaissances.
Ce que vous apporterez :
Baccalaurat en sciences ou dans un domaine technique connexe.
Capacit rsoudre des problmes techniques complexes et non routiniers.
Solides comptences en gestion des relations clients.
Connaissance de lindustrie et des clients ou capacit apprendre rapidement le secteur et les technologies de Solenis.
Sens des rsultats ; aptitude grer de manire proactive des enjeux complexes.
Matrise de Microsoft Office (Word Excel et PowerPoint).
Rsidence dans la rgion de La Tuque.
Capacit russir une vrification des antcdents criminels.
Permis de conduire valide et bon dossier de conduite.
