The Vice President HR Operations will assist with the oversight and optimization of HR processes related to employee lifecycle events thirdparty workforce management global mobility and immigration while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Reporting to a Senior Vice President HR Operations this role will focus on overseeing and implementing efficient scalable and compliant HR operational frameworks that enhance the employee experience and support the organizations business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Lifecycle Management
o Assist with the oversight and management of lifecycle events including onboarding transfers and offboarding for both Blackstone employee and ThirdParty workforce.
o Develop and implement standardized processes and policies to ensure consistency efficiency and a positive employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle.
o Partner with HRbusiness partners and other stakeholders to address complex employee lifecycle events and resolve escalations effectively.
o Continuously evaluate and improve lifecycle processes to align with organizational goals and employee needs.
ThirdParty Workforce Management
o Develop and implement frameworks for managing thirdparty workers ensuring alignment with company policies and legal requirements.
o Collaborate with Procurement Legal and business leaders to ensure proper classification onboarding and offboarding of thirdparty workers.
o Monitor and mitigate risks associated with thirdparty workforce management including compliance with labor laws and contractor agreements.
Global Mobility and Immigration
o Assist with the oversight and management of global mobility and immigration processes ensuring compliance with international employment laws and visa requirements.
o In coordination with the Global Mobility lead develop and implement policies and procedures to support employee relocations international assignments and visa sponsorships.
o Manage complex global mobility cases and ensure seamless employee transitions.
o Provide strategic guidance to leadership on global mobility trends challenges and opportunities to support business growth and talent strategy.
Legal and Compliance Oversight
o Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws regulations and company policies across all jurisdictions where the company operates within North America.
o Develop and maintain policies procedures and documentation to meet legal and regulatory requirements including audits and reporting.
o Monitor changes in employment laws and regulations proactively updating processes and advising leadership on potential impacts.
HR Operational Excellence
o Drive process improvements and standardization to ensure HR operations are scalable and aligned with the companys growth.
o Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure seamless integration of HR operations with other business processes.
o Act as a trusted advisor on HR data governance and data quality.
Team Leadership and Development
o Assist in the leadership of the HR Operations team who are responsible for employee lifecycle management thirdparty workforce processes global mobility and compliance.
o Foster a professional culture of accountability collaboration and continuous improvement within the HR operations team.
o Provide coaching and development opportunities to enhance the skills and expertise of team members.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Management
o Partner with HR Business Partners Talent Acquisition and other HR functions to ensure seamless delivery of HR services.
o Collaborate with Legal Internal Audit Procurement and IT to align HR operations with broader organizational goals and compliance requirements.
o Build strong professional relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure HR operations meet the needs of employees thirdparty workers and the business.
Partnership with People Analytics
o Collaborate with the People Analytics team to leverage data insights and inform strategic decisionmaking.
o Usedata to evaluate employee lifecycle events global mobility processes and thirdparty workforce management to identify areas for improvement and drive operational efficiency.
o Provide leadership with actionable insights and recommendations based on datadriven analysis to enhance the employee experience and support organizational goals.

Expected annual base salary range:
$160000 $190000Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individuals experience skills qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.
Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
